• 2006 – University Marelich Mechanical, Inc. becomes a stand-alone operating company, reporting directly to EMCOR Group, Inc.
  
• 1999 – The Los Angeles operations of University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. (UMEC) and Marelich Mechanical Co., Inc. merge to become Marelich Mechanical Co., Inc., dba University Marelich Mechanical (UMM). This organizational structure continues through 2005.
  
• 1931 – Marelich Mechanical begins serving clients in Northern California.
  
• 1922 – University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. (UMEC) opens for business in Southern California.
